In 1993 we began a post frame construction company called White Construction Company. We build post frame buildings in East Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, and Northwest North Carolina. At that time we were using local suppliers for our building packages. We found out over the years, that our suppliers were making the majority of the profit. We were making 10% profit on a job, while they were making 40 - 50% profit. In 2003 we decided to build our own warehouse, and stock our own building materials. We found that buying the product by bulk, straight from the manufacturer saved us money on materials, and made us competitive in our market. We are still operating our construction company in this area, and we know the process builders go through, including the problems that they incur.
